We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to enable business outcomes by making security effective, proportionate, and embedded across technology design, delivery, and change. This role plays a critical part in ensuring security is designed into solutions from the outset, supporting innovation, strengthening cyber resilience, and helping the business make informed decisions on risk, controls, and technology adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design and assure security controls aligned to business objectives, threat landscape, and regulatory requirements
- Provide pragmatic security advice to business and technical stakeholders
- Work with technology, data and solution architects to embed security best practice across design and delivery
- Deliver security architecture artefacts supporting change, run and operational activity
- Assess threats, risks and controls for new services, technologies and third-party solutions
- Define and maintain security standards, patterns, designs and roadmaps, communicating risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Technical Attributes
- Strong working knowledge of public cloud security concepts, particularly Microsoft Azure and its related security capabilities
- Strong grounding in security architecture principles and application of controls across cloud, identity, compute, network and software domains
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, including authentication, authorisation, and identity lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of compute and network security concepts, including segmentation, hardening, resilience, and monitoring
- Good understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) security considerations, including model, data, access, and governance risks
- Solid understanding of modern threat landscapes, vulnerability patterns, and emerging risks
- Experience designing, reviewing and challenging security controls, assessing new technologies, and translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions

- Clear, structured communicator with the ability to articulate security architectures, risks and recommendations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with both a technical and non-technical audience, able to balance security and business outcomes
