Job Purpose: To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home.
Reporting to: Head of Housekeeping & General Manager
Hours: Contracted 3 x 6 hour shifts a week on a set 4 week rolling rota + opportunity to pick up additional hours to cover.
Important: Due to the rural location of Penpergwm House and limited bus service, this role is only suitable for those who have a driver's license and the use of a vehicle at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete all cleaning duties as allocated in the Cleaning; Daily, Periodic and Monthly Work Instructions
- Follow the Universal Infection and Control Procedures throughout your cleaning duties
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- Assist with the laundry processing as and when required
- Use all equipment and cleaning products following manufacturer's instructions
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and products are cleaned and stored safely after use
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Report any faults, hazards or visible risks immediately to the Housekeeper and Care Home Manager
- Undertake such training as required to maintain the highest cleaning standards
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Housekeeper or the Care Home Manager
