The Role:
We are seeking a talented, extroverted, and ambitious qualified accountant to lead our general practice operations. This is a pivotal role where you will manage a high-value portfolio of clients while acting as a vital mentor to our trainee accountants. You will be the bridge between technical excellence and the unique, human-centric service our clients love.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Overseeing the delivery of outsourced accounting, statutory accounts, and tax compliance for a diverse client base (from high-fashion startups to tech innovators).
- Mentorship & Training: Leading the technical development of our ACA/ACCA trainees, providing hands-on guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Technical Advisory: Supporting on specialised projects including R&D Tax Credits, Creative/Film Industry Tax Credits, and international tax structuring.
- Workflow Innovation: Optimising our 100% cloud-based tech stack to ensure maximum efficiency and real-time reporting for clients.
- Client Relationship Leadership: Acting as the primary point of contact for business owners, providing strategic advice that goes beyond the numbers.
