Main duties of the job include seeing patients face to face and via telephone for 6 sessions a week: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The services we offer (subject to COVID‑19 regulations) are:
- Joint injections (including referrals from other practices)
- Minor surgery in a fully equipped minor operating room
- Comprehensive family planning service including Nexplanon / IUD fitting and removal and provision of emergency contraception
- Primary Care Gynaecology Service
- Baby Checks
- Physiotherapy
- Health Trainers
- Exercise Classes delivered by Inspiring Healthy Lifestyle trainers in our fully equipped Gym
Job responsibilities include a salary of £10,000 to £10,780 a session, seasonal rate per year. A competitive salary package includes NHS pension and full indemnity costs, with 6 weeks holiday. We are keen to develop and increase the services that we offer to our patients and would offer mentorship & training to our new GP and value any suggestions for future progression.
Qualifications required include a satisfactory enhanced DBS Disclosure and Barring Service Check. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
