The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 € per year.

We are looking for an experienced head chef to head up the kitchen in a very busy high volume day time only restaurant serving all fresh food menus, including baking. You will be responsible for training and developing the team, managing every aspect of the kitchen and working closely with the group catering manager. A massive bonus is that this is a day time only restaurant, so you won't work any evenings ever! You will need your own transport to get here.

As the Head Chef, you will lead the team in all areas of food production. A true foodie, you will bring your personality to the kitchen inspiring and motivating your team's passion to produce freshly cooked, fabulous food. As Head Chef you will:

  • Lead the daily operation of the kitchen, you will be hands on.
  • Manage the GP and all costs and budgets.
  • Recruit, train, develop and lead your team.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage stock orders.
  • Carry out weekly stock counts to ensure GP targets are achieved.
  • Have input into the menu.
  • Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
  • Plan rotas and holidays to meet service level requirements.
  • Work closely with the Catering Operations Manager to achieve the highest standards, service and sales.

We are looking for:

  • Successful and experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Manager with a background managing high volume fast paced kitchens.
  • Passion for cooking using fresh produce.
  • Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
  • Strong communicator who can motivate and develop their team to deliver results with enthusiasm.
  • Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Commercially aware to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Passion for delivering the highest quality food and service.
