I am looking for a Sous Chef for an extremely high volume day time only restaurant. All the menus are freshly prepared daily, including all baking, and it is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. New year start. A massive bonus is that you will work sensible hours (40 hours a week) Straight daytime shifts with no late evenings. If you love being a chef, but don't want to work 60 hours a week and every evening and weekend then this could be the job for you!

Role - Sous Chef
- Lead the daily operation of the kitchen, you will be hands on.
- Help to manage the GP, labour and all costs and budgets.
- Train, develop and lead your team.
- Monitor stock levels and manage stock orders.
- Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
- Prepare and cook the all fresh company menu.
- Deputise for the head chef in their absence.
We are looking for:
- An experienced Sous Chef with a background working in high volume kitchens.
- Patience for training and developing chefs to improve their skills.
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for cooking fresh food.
- Strong communicator who can motivate and develop their team.
- Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
- Commercially aware to help achieve the GP, costs, budgets, labour, wastage.
- Passion for delivering the highest quality food and service.
