We are looking to recruit a Catering Manager for an independent company operating a multi-site daytime catering operation with strong values centred around customer service, quality of product, and high standards. Based in the Farnham area, you will have full financial, operational and people responsibility for the entire multi-site catering operation, and will possess excellent people management skills and the drive to succeed. Without corporate brand constraints, you will have the autonomy to really develop the offer and shape the business with the site general manager. A massive bonus is that the entire business is a daytime operation with the occasional evening event, so you will have a great work-life balance predominantly working from 9am-5pm.
The salary starts at £29,000 - negotiable.

The role:
- Accountability for achieving budgets and targets
- Recruit, train, develop, lead, motivate and performance manage your team
- Develop the food offer with the general manager
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and source new products
- Implement and manage robust control measures to ensure consistency and compliance
- Have a keen eye for detail - know what good looks like
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service
You will have:
- Experience as a catering/restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop multi-site manager in high volume commercial customer facing operations - ideally a mix of independent and corporate restaurants
- Menu development skills alongside a creative approach to driving sales
- Strong financial & commercial acumen
- Excellent communication, people management, leadership and coaching skills
- A lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
- An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance
- The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
- IT literacy - working with systems & process
