I am looking for a Head Chef for a busy high volume gastro pub serving fresh locally sourced produce. Owned by a small company operating country pubs, boutique bedrooms and cocktail lounges, all their pubs are absolutely beautiful with well appointed kitchens that are well maintained and performing extremely well. A brand new kitchen has just been installed.

Role - Head Chef
- Lead the daily operations of the kitchen, you will be hands on.
- Manage the GP, labour and all costs and budgets.
- Train, develop and lead your team.
- Monitor stock levels and manage stock orders.
- Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
- Prepare and cook the all fresh menu - with menu development input.
- Work closely with the FOH team.
We are looking for:
- An experienced Head Chef with a background working in high volume fresh food kitchens.
- Patience for training and developing chefs to improve their skills.
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for cooking fresh food.
- Strong communicator who can motivate and develop their team.
- Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
- Commercially aware to achieve the GP, costs, budgets, labour, wastage.
- Passion for delivering the highest quality food and service.
