We are looking for a Deputy General Restaurant Manager for a stunning high volume fast paced restaurant open daytime hours only serving fresh food menus in the Cambridge area. They are a very successful business, stable and solid business. A massive bonus is you will work straight day time shifts only - no evenings ever.

It will suit a current deputy/assistant restaurant manager with a high volume quality food led background, exceptional customer service skills, a real eye for detail, the ability to manage and develop large teams and a strong understanding of P & L management.

Role - Deputy General Restaurant Manager

As the Deputy General Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Manage all day to day operations
  • Assist in controlling labour, stock and all costs & budgets
  • Train, develop and motivate the team
  • Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
  • Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
  • Work closely with the kitchen team
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work to company targets and KPIs

  • Experience as a deputy/assistant restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop manager in busy high volume fast paced commercial customer facing operations
  • An understanding of cost and budgets controls

  • A solid understanding of legislation & compliance
  • The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
