We are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this position for an established and successful high volume day time only restaurant serving all fresh breakfast, lunch, cake and afternoon tea menus. A massive bonus is you will work straight day time shifts only - no late evenings ever. So if you love what you do but don't want to work more than 40 hours a week, every night and every weekend then this is 100% the job for you!

It is a busy operation so you need to have worked in a high volume fast paced restaurant and have experience leading teams.

Role:

  • Manage all day to day operations alongside the restaurant manager
  • Help to control labour, stock and all costs & budgets
  • Train, coach, develop and lead the team
  • Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
  • Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work to company targets and KPIs

We are looking for:

  • Experience as an assistant restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop manager in busy commercial customer facing operations
  • An understanding of financial management - labour, costs & budgets
  • Excellent people, communication and people management skills
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
  • Ideally some kitchen experience
  • A strong understanding of legislation & compliance
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • IT literate - working with systems & process
