A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team in a successful and established customer facing restaurant serving all fresh food daily menus using the best local produce.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager we are looking for will have a quality food led background, exceptional customer service skills, a real eye for detail and the ability to manage and train great people. Full training will be given and it is a great opportunity to join a people focused business offering realistic career progression. It is a very busy operation so you will also need some volume experience.

Role - Assistant Restaurant Manager

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Manage all day to day operations alongside the Restaurant GM
  • Oversee set up of the front of house and back of house operation each day ensuring readiness for service.
  • Coordinate the team in front of house operation to create a welcoming and efficient service.
  • Ensure staff have detailed knowledge of the menus.
  • Carry out all required Food Hygiene and Health and Safety checks.
  • Manage staff rotas to ensure service level requirements are met.

Attributes - Assistant Restaurant Manager

  • Experience as an assistant restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop manager in busy commercial customer facing operations
  • Friendly, with excellent people, communication and supervisory skills
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
  • An understanding of food safety legislation & compliance
  • The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • IT literate - working with systems & process
