We’re currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a highly successful education/programming Birmingham-based organisation on a temporary ongoing basis with hybrid working. This is a hands-on, fast-paced generalist HR Advisor role supporting the HR Director and delivering day-to-day HR operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle
- Advising managers on employee relations matters (absence, disciplinary, grievance, etc.)
- Managing onboarding and pre-employment checks (RTW, references, DBS)
- Ensuring HR records and systems are accurate and audit-ready
- Supporting visa, right to work and sponsorship compliance
- Drafting HR documentation and correspondence
You will have:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor / HR Officer role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience with employee relations casework
- Hands-on experience with onboarding & compliance checks
- Solid understanding of right to work, visa and sponsorship processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
