We’re currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a highly successful education/programming Birmingham-based organisation on a temporary ongoing basis with hybrid working. This is a hands-on, fast-paced generalist HR Advisor role supporting the HR Director and delivering day-to-day HR operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle
  • Advising managers on employee relations matters (absence, disciplinary, grievance, etc.)
  • Managing onboarding and pre-employment checks (RTW, references, DBS)
  • Ensuring HR records and systems are accurate and audit-ready
  • Supporting visa, right to work and sponsorship compliance
  • Drafting HR documentation and correspondence

You will have:

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor / HR Officer role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience with employee relations casework
  • Hands-on experience with onboarding & compliance checks
  • Solid understanding of right to work, visa and sponsorship processes
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
