As a Mechanical Craftsperson, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our water treatment assets, pumping stations, and reservoirs. What you will be doing:
- Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment
- Manufacture and fabricate parts and equipment
- Provide detailed specifications for replacement parts
- Assist operational teams with complex problem-solving
- Ensure safety compliance using method statements and RAMS
- Participate in standby/call-out rota
What we are looking for:
- A completed apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline
- A full understanding of related RAMS to deliver an effective and safe maintenance regime
- Experience of working with Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable
- Ability to fault find and repair large complex pieces of mechanical equipment
