About The Role

As an Assistant Estates Surveyor, you’ll help manage access to private land required for major infrastructure projects. Acting as a key link between project teams, landowners, legal advisors, and contractors, you’ll support the end-to-end process—from initial landowner engagement through to agreements, access, and compensation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring a clear audit trail
  • Support data collection and analysis to help progress projects effectively
  • Liaise with legal advisors on property matters, including leases and agreements
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate actions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with property due diligence for new sites and acquisitions
  • Manage records, reports, and the property management system
  • Track and process financial activities including orders, invoices, and reporting
  • Support compensation, royalty payments, and stakeholder communications
  • Prepare reports and contribute to board papers
  • Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support where required

  • A graduate (ideally in a property-related field), or
  • Someone with relevant experience (e.g. property, land or planning), or
  • Looking to start a career in surveying through training or an apprenticeship
