We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team working across the Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire region. This is a full‑time, permanent role with a competitive salary of up to £43,000 per annum and clear progression to a fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer.
About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced plumber or heating engineer who is looking to move into the commercial sector. You’ll work on a range of sites including leisure centres, schools, offices and hotels, gaining hands‑on experience while receiving training and support to develop into a Plumbing & Commercial Gas Engineer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the installation, service, maintenance and repair of commercial heating systems, including boilers, radiators and underfloor heating
- Carrying out plumbing installations, maintenance, servicing and repairs across commercial sites
- Supporting senior engineers on commercial plant room work and larger systems
- Working closely with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and building regulations
- Maintaining clear and accurate records of work carried out
- Handling equipment and materials, including occasional heavy lifting
- Carrying out TMV servicing and replacements
- Undertaking general plumbing duties as required
What We Are Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent experience)
- Solid background in plumbing and/or domestic heating systems
- A strong willingness to learn and develop into a Commercial Gas Engineer
- Basic knowledge of heating systems and controls
- Good problem‑solving skills and a practical mindset
- Strong communication skills and a team‑focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A commitment to high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Full, clean UK driving licence
