Our non-contentious Construction team are looking for an NQ-2PQE Associate to join the London office. The Projects, Development & Construction Team have established a strong reputation in a variety of sectors, particularly in real estate, housing & accommodation, property investment, commercial property, education, health, care, sustainability and renewables. Our lawyers are recognised for their expertise in procurement, construction, development and large scale projects, including JVs, regeneration and advising on renewables projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing a comprehensive range of construction law solutions across the wide spectrum of projects undertaken in the construction industry.
- Negotiating and drafting all types of construction, development and project documentation.
- Helping clients prepare agreements that best reflect their interests and the appropriate sharing of risk.
- Advising on risks in live schemes, including payment advice, delays, fire stopping issues and preventing the failure of construction projects.
- Engaging to advise on live projects to help avoid disputes and shape commercial negotiations and deals.
We are looking for a full time Junior Associate to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be NQ-2 years qualified and have previous experience of working within a construction team or housing practice. A good working knowledge of various standard form contracts and appointments, including JCT, NEC and EPC forms, is ideal.
