The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The Corporate team are looking for a newly qualified-2 PQE associate to join the team in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate is needed to work with the team on a full range of corporate transactions, in particular M&A and spin-out and venture capital transactions, and ongoing company law/corporate advice.
  • The role will involve drafting transaction documents and legal advice, transaction management and engaging with clients and third parties to help deliver our transactions.
  • The successful applicant will be expected to get involved with the team’s business development activities.

The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time. Individuals can also apply for other flexible working options either at the time of recruitment or during the course of their employment.

Essential & Desirable Criteria

  • At least one seat in Corporate and a real interest in the practice area
  • SRA Qualified
  • NQ-2 years post qualification experience
  • The ideal candidate will be well-organised, have strong core legal and drafting skills and be readily able to form and develop strong relationships with clients and business development contacts.
