The PI / CN team in Basingstoke is seeking a NQ/junior solicitor to join the team from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- The role is working mainly for two senior solicitors in the team and assisting the wider team when needed.
- The workload is likely to include assisting with high value and complex clinical negligence claims, across a wide range of cases including neurology, oncology, maternal injury, gynaecology, surgical and ENT cases.
- The role will be very hands on, taking responsibility for aspects of cases and having direct client contact and the aim will be for the individual to start to build up their own caseload under supervision.
Essential & Desirable Criteria
- The ideal candidate is someone keen and enthusiastic about this area of work and who wants to take on responsibility and be fully involved in case work.
- An interest in BD and a willingness to get involved in firmwide team activities and projects would be welcomed as will an individual who is happy to work as part of a team and be flexible in providing support.
