Penningtons Manches Cooper is a leading UK and international law firm providing high‑quality legal advice tailored to businesses and individuals. The Court of Protection (COP) team advises and assists individuals, families, carers, trustees and beneficiaries on a range of matters including financial management, welfare and capacity issues.
Responsibilities:
- Draft routine and non‑routine applications to the Court of Protection with accompanying documentation including witness statements.
- Assist senior members of the team with discrete tasks as required.
- Prepare budgets for clients for financial advisers and the Court.
- Arrange insurance policies for clients.
- Review and authorise invoices for payment.
- Liaise with case managers, clients and their families.
- Liaise and consult with senior members on team policies and general management of client matters.
