Location: Pennine Vets - working across our Tottington and Harwood practices

Salary: depending on experience + Benefits

Hours: Full time - reduced hours considered for the right candidate

We are looking for a motivated and positive RVN to lead the nursing and reception team within our practice, including but not limited to:

  • Advocating and driving nurse consults and clinics
  • Managing the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
  • Supporting and coaching our SVN's
  • Being a point of contact for the nursing team
  • Ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment

The Head Nurse will be fully supported by a deputy Head Nurse and RVN/PD.

About Us: Pennine Vets was established in 2004, and our two practice sites are located in Tottington, Bury and Harwood, Bolton. These two practices work side-by-side, and our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment - along with regular check-ups and routine procedures to our client base.

About You: We are looking for someone reliable and ambitious with excellent communication, patient and client care standards, that has great attention to detail. This role would suit an RVN who is ready to take a step up in responsibility or an experienced Senior/Lead or Head Nurse looking for a better work/life balance. It is ideal for someone with a passion for developing clinical and personal development individually and for the team.
