Pennine Recruitment (Acting as a Recruitment Agency) are delighted to be recruiting for two Manufacturing Operatives on a full-time, permanent basis for one of our clients in the Warrington area. Our client is a well-known manufacturing company, and in this role you will be manufacturing a wide range of bespoke products for a number of prestigious clients!

You will be working as part of a small team who have a big emphasis on working together and really going the extra mile! We are looking for someone with previous manufacturing experience but additional job training will be provided.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Using a wide range of manufacturing equipment including hand tools, sewing machines etc
  • General Labouring
  • Working with materials such as PVC and other heavy duty fabrics
  • Working in different areas of the shop floor, utilising different processes so no day will be the same!
  • General Housekeeping of the floor.

To be successful, you will:

  • Be able to work as part of a close knit team and be able to work collaboratively with the team
  • Ideally you will have experience working with heavy duty fabrics or have some form of upholstery background
  • Be able to evidence a solid work history
  • Good communication & organisational skills.
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritise and manage own workload whilst turning challenges into opportunities

What should you expect:

  • Core working hours - 06:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs (4-day working week!!)
  • The base salary for the role would be £27,684.80 p/a, however this does not take into account any overtime which is paid at 1.5x
  • Fantastic career progression
