Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment business) are delighted to be recruiting a Stock Controller/FLT Reach driver to join our client in the S9 (Meadowhall train station) area of Sheffield on a full time, temporary ongoing basis.

This role gives you the chance to work closely with the leadership team, to ensure that the stock is managed in an efficient manner.

You will be taking a lead in regard to the management of stock, ensuring that inbound, outbound as well as the storage of stock is handled efficiently.

Key responsibilities include

  • Responsible for control of the stock levels.
  • Ensure that orders are processed and shipped promptly and in accordance with client needs.
  • Liaising with Transport and clients regarding deliveries and collections.
  • Inputting data.
  • Controlling stock and sending daily reports to our clients
  • Stock check and obtain proof of deliveries.
  • Auditing load plans and carrying out spot checks on stocks.

To be successful , you will

  • Must hold an FLT Reach license as this will be an integral part of the role.
  • Be able to work as part of a close knit team and be able to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Have experience using WMS systems
  • A flexible attitude
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication & organisational skills.
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritise and manage own work load whilst turning challenges into opportunities
