Pennine Recruitment (acting as a recruitment business) are delighted to be recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established business in Sheffield on a full time, temporary ongoing basis with very real opportunities to go permanent. Our client is a family-owned industrial supply business, a small, friendly team that takes pride in getting thousands of products to customers across the country with a reliable next-day service.

The Warehouse Operative will be a key part of the team in a varied role within a busy environment where accuracy is more important than raw speed. You will be responsible for the entire order process, from goods-in to dispatch.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately picking and packing a wide range of industrial supplies
  • Printing carrier labels and carrying out other day-to-day tasks using bespoke warehouse software
  • Receiving deliveries and carefully checking them against purchase orders
  • Keeping the warehouse organised and stock levels accurate
  • Serving customers at the trade collection counter with a friendly and helpful attitude

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.15 pm

Pay

£13.65 p/h
