Pennine Recruitment (Acting as an Employment Agency) are delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Electrician/Fitter on behalf of our client in the Stourton area of Leeds on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for highly versatile, professional and self-motivated individuals, who will be part of a small engineering team involved in a dynamic and varied role helping to support the smooth running of the facility. The ideal candidate must demonstrate flexibility with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude dealing with a wide variety of tasks.

The Role:

  • Control engineering and electrical projects to ensure delivery on time
  • Ensure that all equipment is available and complies with H&S standards
  • Propose any improvements for Machinery replacement
  • Preventative maintenance programs
  • Recovery maintenance to fix breakdowns
  • Recommend any improvements to ensure the company is fully compliant with the relevant external standards
  • Monitoring and reporting on infrastructure assets

The Candidate:

  • An experienced apprentice trained electrician with Industrial experience
  • Some knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Proven track record within a fast-paced production environment
  • Proactive and can-do attitude

Working Hours:

08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday
08.00 - 16.00 - Friday
On-call and overtime as required.
