  • Head up all aspects of the winter weddings (max 24 guests), including printing menus, greeting registrars and wedding couples, laying tables, arranging furniture, liasing with the kitchen team and manage the waiting staff.

  • Oversee the summer weddings as Events Coordinator on the wedding day from the beginning to end.

  • Liaise with guests to understand their needs and requirements on the day of the event.

  • Oversee event logistics, including making sure all furniture, props etc are in place, setup, and breakdown of events.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Manger and Coordinator to join our small team.

We are a family run wedding venue hosting large weddings in the summer and smaller weddings in our Italian style barn in the winter as well as farm feasts each month.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for hospitality with excellent organisational skills to work alongside our Events Director to learn the ropes before taking on the role on their own. The ideal candidate would have brilliant interpersonal skills, be prompt and on time, be well presented, clean and tidy and above all, love working with people.

The role will involve direct liaison and communication with guests and registrars, day to day running of weddings and events including front of house and bar work.

You will be need to be energetic, fit and not afraid of physical work – able to move chairs, crates of glasses and lay tables when necessary.

Previous experience in weddings and events isn’t crucial but some front of house experience would be helpful. A passion for food and sustainability would be great as we are trying to drive our business forward as sustainably as possible., * A passion for hospitality and the desire to create memorable experiences for guests.

  • Able to lead by example and work as a team as well as on your own.

  • To be highly motivated and positive.

  • Background in hospitality or event management is preferred but not crucial.

  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional organisational abilities to ensure all details have been thought about.

  • Experience in hotel or a restaurant/bar environment is advantageous.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests in a warm and friendly manner.

  • Full clean driving license
