Make a Difference at Cafcass. At Cafcass, our purpose is to be the voice of children and young people in the family court. We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR Business Partnering team, playing a key role in delivering people strategy and operational HR support across a complex national organisation.
About the Role: As a HR Business Partner, you will operate as a credible senior HR professional working closely with senior leaders and management teams. You will deliver both strategic and operational HR outcomes, acting as a genuine business partner to service areas and contributing to organisational performance and service delivery. This role sits within a nationally dispersed HR and OD team and will involve regular travel across regions as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate and robust advice across a full range of HR issues, including complex employee relations casework.
- Lead and support organisational change and restructuring programmes, including business cases and impact assessments.
- Provide expert guidance to decision-makers throughout formal HR procedures.
- Support workforce planning and use data to identify trends and inform people strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR services and organisational outcomes.
About You: Strong experience within HR Business Partnering or a senior HR advisory role. Sound knowledge of employment law, HR policy and employee relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and geographically dispersed organisation. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to manage complex casework and organisational change activity. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a proactive approach.

Important Information: This role requires regular nationwide travel and flexibility to support service needs.
