Our new Chief Executive will help us to address our financial challenges with modern approaches, maintain our strong collective culture, and lead the big changes our organisation needs – to ultimately demonstrate that we are a council that can continuously improve.

The role will provide the leadership and cohesion for this challenge, and bring about change through inclusion and engagement with all stakeholders.

Alongside our Ministerial Envoys, and led by our elected members, we must manage our budget effectively, live within our means, review our commercial investments, deliver a strong programme of change, and introduce new ways of working to support a healthy future.
