We are looking for aLearning Support Assistant to work in our friendly and highly-effective school.Our LSA team are highly-skilled and we are looking for candidates who areambitious and determined that Penn Wood children get the very best. Thecandidate will support children at Penn Wood and secure their access to thecurriculum and teaching.
This is a fixed termrole and the successful candidate could make an immediate start, subject tosafeguarding process. The contract woud be renewed at the end of the Springterm.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, the LSA teamand other professionals to help children—including those with additionalneeds—communicate effectively, access our high-quality curriculum, developingconfidence and independence.
You will play a keyrole in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment andwill be skilled at supporting pupils in both independent learning and play,helping them to build relationships with their peers. You will bedeeply-invested in our community and ambitious for all children, demonstratinghow you ensure all children gain access to the educational experiences theydeserve and helping to deliver our excellent curriculum.
