Penn State New Kensington is seeking student workers to staff the library information desk. Duties include assisting library patrons with checking out and returning library materials, checking out course reserves and media equipment, answering the phone, helping troubleshoot technology problems, shelving books and other materials, and other duties as assigned. Provide basic research assistance to library patrons by helping them search the library's online catalog. Refer any advanced research and citation questions to librarians.
Candidates must possess excellent customer service and strong communication skills, high levels of reliability and flexibility, and be self-motivated.
