AS THE ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST, you\’ll be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This role is required to perform all ultrasound procedures as outlined in the protocol manual, and produce images with sufficient resolution, magnification and image information. This position is required to maintain clinical competency for all exams and perform additional duties as required. The ultrasound technologist is expected to competently perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply ultrasound for diagnosis.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer\’s (ARDMS) school
- Must be ARDMS registered within one year of hire
- Must have current CPR certification or must obtain within (6) months of hire
