As a Registered Nurse, you will provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, established standards, and administrative policies of Penn Highlands Community Nurses through the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. You will be responsible for the administration of direct and indirect patient-centered nursing care using nursing judgements based on the nursing process, scientific principles, and nurse practice act. As a member of the Hospice IDT, you will plan, direct, control, observe, and perform nursing care to meet patient care needs and provide physicians with optimal service.
Work Schedule: 1-2 days per week
Qualifications:
- Have a current Pennsylvania RN License or Temporary Practice Permit
- Have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Have current automobile coverage
- Have 2 years of acute care or long-term care experience
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong teaching skills
- Have ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
