Summary
DESCRIPTION: THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR SUPERVISES THE WORK ACTIVITIES OF THE BUILDINGS & GROUNDS PERSONNEL TO ENSURE THAT SAFE, EFFICIENT, SANITARY, ATTRACTIVE, AND ORDERLY CONDITIONS EXIST AT ALL TIMES WITHIN THE MEDICAL CENTER. COORDINATES SOME ACTIVITIES OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT WITH THOSE OF OTHER HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS.
Qualifications
Education HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED. WORKING TOWARDS AS AN ACTIVE STUDENT VOCATIONAL OR TECHNICAL TRAINING DESIRED.
Required Experience/Skills ONE YEAR BASIC TRADE EXPERIENCE OR TRADE SCHOOL ATTENDANCE DESIRED.
Preferred Experience/Skills MUST BE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. MUST HAVE THE CAPACITY AND DESIRE TO DEVELOP ADDITIONAL SKILLS. MUST HAVE GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AND BE WILLING TO INFORM APPROPRIATE MANAGER OF POTENTIAL PROBLEMS THAT MAY ARISE. VALID PA DRIVERS LICENSE.
