Summary

AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, you’ll calibrate, inspect and test all respiratory care equipment to ensure proper operating condition.

Disassemble, clean and sterilize equipment for reuse according to prescribed procedures.

Administer respiratory care services, including all services offered by the department.

Coordinate Respiratory Technicians to ensure proper utilization of staff; make daily work assignments in a fair and equitable manner.

Be responsible for the quality of patient care delivered and develop, recommend and implement new procedures, techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

PA Licensed for Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must be registered by the NBRC or be registry eligible.
