THE CLINICAL ASSISTANT provides direct and indirect patient care while helping facilitate a functional environment for patients, visitors, and employees. In this position, you will function under the supervision, direction, and guidance of a professional registered nurse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Pennsylvania Certified EMT or Paramedic licensing or Associate's Degree in Clinical/Administrative Medical Assisting or 1 year diploma with certification in EKG or one-year of hands-on clinical experience in an accredited nursing program required
- Basic Life Support certification required within 6 months of hire
- Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCM) certification required within first 18 months of hire
- Prior Certified Nurse Aide, EMT, or Nursing Assisting Training experience preferred
