Summary
As a Cardiovascular Radiological Technician, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease, while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
Education: Certificate program graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post‑secondary educational program in health science (includes, but not limited to cardiovascular technology, licensed practical nurse, radiologic technology, paramedic). Required: Associate’s degree from an accredited school of radiology or cardiovascular technology. Preferred: RCIS certification within 2 years of hire.
Required Experience / Skills
Previous interventional and/or diagnostic cath lab experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Healthcare provider (BLS) certification
- Participation in department on‑call schedule
- ACLS certification within 6 months of start date
