AS A CARDIOVASCULAR RADIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease, while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Certificate program graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, licensed practical nurse, radiologic technology, paramedic).
- Required associate’s degree from an accredited school of radiology or cardiovascular technology.
- Preferred RCIS certification within 2 years of hire (required).
Required Experience/Skills
- Previous interventional and/or diagnostic cath lab experience preferred.
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Health Care Provider (BLS) certification; participation in department on call schedule; ACLS certification within 6 months of start date.
