About The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team and help deliver impactful marketing, communications, and digital activities across the organisation. This role is key to maintaining a strong online presence, creating high-quality content, and supporting campaigns that align with our commercial objectives.

A major focus will be ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism on Active Steward (AS), one of our most important client‑facing platforms, so that every interaction reflects a first‑class standard.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Write and update social media posts, email content, website copy, and marketing materials.
  • Create engaging copy for adverts, LinkedIn posts, and campaigns.
  • Support the development of sales materials and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Review and improve content and layout on AS client-facing pages for an excellent user experience.

Digital Marketing & Online Activity

  • Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn and our website.
  • Maintain website pages, blogs, and product/service updates.
  • Apply basic SEO (meta titles, descriptions, alt text).
  • Support digital campaigns, monitor performance, and prepare simple reports.

Campaign & Project Support

  • Assist with campaign execution, email sends, and follow‑up actions.
  • Organise campaign assets and coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support event planning and logistics, including merchandise preparation.

Administrative & Research

  • Maintain the asset library and CRM (HubSpot).
  • Monitor competitor activity across social media and websites.
  • Provide general admin support for marketing projects.

Quality & Compliance

  • Work in line with our ISO9001-compliant Quality Management System.
  • Contribute to the development of Active Steward for study placement, cost control, and quality programmes.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through seminars and courses.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence using digital platforms (social media, CMS/CRM, email tools).
  • Basic SEO knowledge.
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable

  • Understanding of digital marketing analytics.
  • Experience with B2B or technical content.
  • Familiarity with website UX improvements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, English, or related field.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in digital marketing or content writing.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to commute to Aspect House within one hour.

Nice to Have

  • Additional marketing or copywriting certifications.
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., CIM).

We actively encourage on‑the‑job development and expect you to maintain and grow your professional standards through relevant training and participation in industry events.
