We are looking for someone that is seeking part-time work with a Heavy Goods Vehicle Licence - Class 1/Class 2 Recovery Driver to work within our Company at Penllain Garage in Hermon SA36 0DS.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for securing and loading damaged, broken-down vehicles safely and delivering them to various UK destinations.
  • Knowledge of the local area is essential.
  • Training will be given to the successful candidate.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours.
  • Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.

The Person:

  • The applicant must hold a current Class 1/Class 2 licence with CPC.
  • Willing to be flexible with hours to meet our business needs; 40 hours a week available and weekend availability on call, bonus applies plus hours worked on weekends.
  • Customer focused with the ability to build relationships.
  • Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
  • Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekend availability.

Ability to commute/relocate: HERMON, SA36 0DS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Work Location: One location.

Job Types: Part-time vacancy. Part-time only applicable (self-employed) available on request.

Salary: From £13.00 - £14.00 per hour.

COVID-19 considerations: Face masks, hand sanitisers, gloves.

Experience: Driving: 3 years (preferred); Road Transport Occupations: 2 years (preferred).

Expected start date: 24/04/2026.
