The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We are offering a 2 Year Graduate Sales Trading Programme with multiple openings across London, Gibraltar, Las Palmas and Copenhagen in partnership with the Danish Shipping Academy. Graduates will learn the fundamentals of working at Peninsula and Bunkering basics before rotating across Risk Management, Physical Supply, Claims and Sales Trading all whilst gaining hands-on experience. There may also be the opportunity to complete up to 3 x 6 week placements across our other commercial locations worldwide, providing a 360 understanding of Peninsula and how we operate in the context of the wider industry. On completion, you will receive a Danish Shipping Education Diploma after passing various in person modules and webinars alongside the professional hands-on experience.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pro-actively market to a portfolio of new & existing customers, establish and build relationships with a view to increasing enquiries and selling the products and services of Peninsula;
- Openly communicate with other traders to maximise the efficient flow of market and customer intelligence throughout the company and fully support international colleagues in actively and diligently working inbound enquiries from other regional offices around the Peninsula Group;
- Understand, analyse and interpret market conditions, identify counterparty needs, provide product and price information, negotiate deals and prepare and process orders, handle administration and general customer queries relating to the sales process;
- Develop and expand the Company’s business portfolio by leveraging the Group’s global network and ensuring that all sales opportunities are identified and maximised.
- Demonstrate a proactive commitment to completing all required training and development initiatives within set timeframes.
