As an Ecologist, you will be involved in undertaking habitat and protected species surveys, preparing technical reports, supporting project delivery and working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams. The successful Ecologist will contribute to a wide variety of projects while ensuring high standards of ecological consultancy are maintained. This Ecologist role offers a balance of fieldwork, reporting and client engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an ecological consultancy or related environment
  • Knowledge of UK habitats, wildlife legislation and survey methodologies
  • Experience producing ecological reports
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Ability to travel to sites as required
  • Living in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Wolverhampton office
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
