An established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Designer to support the delivery of projects across a range of sectors in their West Midlands office. This role will focus on leading health and safety compliance throughout the pre-construction phase in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Principal Designer in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate health and safety throughout the pre-construction phase.
  • Identify, eliminate, and control foreseeable risks through effective design risk management.
  • Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and facilitate design risk review meetings and workshops.
