I am recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a respected and high-performing civil engineering consultancy in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer with four or more years' UK consultancy experience who wants greater technical ownership, progression and exposure to complex development infrastructure projects across the North West.
This Civil Engineer role sits within a collaborative team delivering residential and commercial developments ranging from smaller site improvements to large, multi-million-pound schemes. As a Civil Engineer, you will work closely with senior colleagues, take on client-facing responsibility and play a key role in the technical delivery of infrastructure design packages, with a clear route toward senior-level involvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead detailed design of highways, earthworks and foul and surface water drainage
- Produce calculations, drawings and technical reports using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Deliver S278, S38 and S104 submissions to current adoption standards
- Support schemes from early concept through to approval and construction
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities
- Act as the technical point of contact for project coordination and queries
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent
- At least four years UK infrastructure design experience
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D capability with drainage design experience
- Good knowledge of UK design standards and adoption processes
- Confident communicator with strong technical report writing skills
