Our client is a well-established, close-knit multidisciplinary consultancy renowned for lending their skills and expertise across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are looking for a skilled SuDS Designer to take on a range of challenging projects in the local region. You will be based near the historic, picturesque town of Ware.

Responsibilities
- Producing detailed SuDS designs for a variety of projects, especially new residential developments
- Contributing to planning applications and construction phases
- Developing a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region
- Collaborating with a team of experts, contributing to exciting projects
Required skills and experience
- A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar, relevant discipline
- Extensive experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, particularly for residential projects and new developments
- Outstanding working knowledge of relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction
- Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments
Desirable skills and experience
- A Higher Degree in Civil Engineering, or another relevant discipline
- Possess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.) or actively working to attain this
- Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
