This is a varied role working across a range of projects, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress your career within a strong technical team.
The Role:
Manage geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and constructionUndertake geotechnical design for foundations, retaining walls, basements, slopes and earthworksReview ground investigation information and produce technical reportsComplete geotechnical calculations and analysisWork closely with clients, contractors and other design disciplinesProvide technical support to junior engineersAttend site visits and provide technical input during constructionSupport tenders, proposals and client meetingsThe Candidate: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related subjectStrong experience within geotechnical consultancyPrevious geotechnical design experienceGood understanding of UK ground conditions xohmjla and relevant standardsExperience with PLAXIS, WALLAP or similar software would be beneficialChartered or working towards chartership is desirableGood communication skills and the ability to manage projects independentlyThe Package: Competitive salaryStrong benefits packageVaried project portfolioClear progression opportunitiesSupport towards professional development and chartership
