You will be responsible for managing projects, providing technical expertise, developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the wider team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage geotechnical projects from initial ground investigation and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.Undertake and review geotechnical assessments, foundation design, retaining structures and interpretative reports.Interpret ground investigation data and develop appropriate ground models and engineering solutions.Provide technical leadership, review engineering deliverables and mentor junior engineers.Manage project budgets, programmes and resources to ensure successful delivery.Develop client relationships and contribute to business development, tenders and fee proposals.Work collaboratively with structural, civil and other engineering disciplines.RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.Significant experience within a geotechnical engineering consultancy.Chartered status or actively working towards chartership.Strong technical knowledge of ground engineering, foundation design and ground investigation.Experience managing projects, supporting junior staff and liaising directly with clients.Excellent communication, organisational and commercial skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects across London and the UK.Support for professional development and chartership.Clear opportunities for career progression into senior leadership. xsabvtc Collaborative working environment within an established multidisciplinary consultancy.
