This is an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner with 3-5 years' professional experience to join a highly regarded consultancy known for delivering clear, commercially focused planning advice across a range of development sectors.

The successful Town Planner will play a key role in supporting development management projects, working closely with colleagues and clients throughout the planning process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting planning applications from submission through to determination
  • Undertaking detailed planning policy analysis and case-making
  • Preparing high-quality planning statements and supporting documentation
  • Working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Liaising with local planning authorities and key stakeholders
  • Managing multiple projects with a high level of organisation and initiative

The ideal Town Planner will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience within the UK planning system
  • Strong development management experience, including policy analysis and application case-making
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams (project management exposure desirable)
  • Experience from either the private sector or a local authority background
