Position Overview

In this role, you will provide planning, development, and regeneration consultancy advice to both public and private sector clients on all aspects of planning which include retail, residential, leisure and general urban regeneration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and pre‑application enquiries
  • Undertaking and assisting in the preparation of information for community engagement, committee meetings and public examinations
  • Conducting research and undertaking planning appraisals to establish the development potential of sites
  • Researching and designing planning policies to guide development
  • Writing high quality reports with recommendations
  • Communicating with all stakeholders involved in the planning process
  • Attending site visits and client meetings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in a Town Planning related field of study
  • Demonstrable previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Ability to adapt, think on your feet, and hit the ground running
