We are partnering with a highly respected sustainability and engineering consultancy to recruit a talented Building Physics Consultant for their growing Swindon team. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out dynamic thermal modelling and environmental analysis using IES VE
  • Support the delivery of Net Zero Carbon and operational energy strategies
  • Provide guidance on compliance with Part L, Part O, TM52/TM59, EPCs, TM54/NABERS, and Passive House standards
  • Contribute to sustainability assessments and modelling for BREEAM credits
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to influence sustainable design decisions
  • Produce technical reports and analysis to support planning and compliance requirements
  • Stay up to date with industry legislation, standards, and emerging best practices

About You

  • A degree in Building Services Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Physics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Around 2-4 years' experience within building physics or sustainability consultancy
  • Strong experience using IES VE software
  • A solid understanding of sustainable building design and building performance analysis
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and low-carbon design
