I am actively seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a friendly design team based in Surrey. Our client is a well-established, civil and structural design consultancy, working largely on residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings. The chosen candidate will join a vibrant office where communication and teamwork is encouraged. Our client uses Tekla, TEDDS, AutoCAD and REVIT for drawings.
The chosen candidate will be offered a competitive starting salary, determined by experience. You will be offered ongoing support to continue developing and learning and will be promoted on merit. Our client offers pension contribution, bonus schemes, flexible work arrangements, payment of professional subscriptions and more!
Responsibilities and Requirements
To be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:
- Have gained a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered or working towards Chartership
- Likely 3-4 years or more experience working in the UK
- Experience working on residential and commercial builds
- Ability to complete structural survey work would be an advantage though not essential
- Experience using up to date design software
- Working knowledge of CAD
- Ideally local but we can consider candidates relocating to the area
Working as a Structural Engineer you will assist in completing designs, assist with structural survey work, help mentor junior engineers, graduates, and technicians. You will work on projects from inception through to completion stage and continue your route towards Chartership.
