We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a successful design consultancy based in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ UK experience working on structural design within the residential and commercial buildings sector.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience within structural design including steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction to Euro Code standards
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software
- Confident in producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
- Ability to prepare construction drawings and specifications
- Commercial awareness of costing, budgets, and quotations
- Report writing experience
- Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings
Desirable Experience:
- Understanding of some of the following: TEKLA, TEDDS, STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
- Project management and leadership skills
- Working towards Chartership
